Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children. Four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. They was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she did not take the time to learn English, hoping to go again to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands and then Hill House. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting career. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was given the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
