Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. He's the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where together with three students, he created his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they were winners. He always showed an interest in music, but he wanted to become an attorney or a physical therapy. In order to support the needs of his children, he worked a short time working part-time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. The reason for this was that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. During the competition the band sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to be the winner. But they finished placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't place, but Cowell still paid 2 million pounds in cash to One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
